HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THE OIL PAINT TO DRY?
This paint is formulated using high-grade linseed oil, and the drying time is influenced by factors such as room temperature and air circulation. The thickness of the paint layer also plays a role in the drying process. In most cases, artists aim for a dry-to-touch surface, which typically occurs within 5-7 days. It's important to note that oil paints dry from the outer layers inward, and it is considered normal for an oil painting to be completely dry after 6 months to a year.

To expedite the drying time, you can incorporate drying mediums like Galkyd or Galkyd Lite. Thin layers of paint applied with these mediums can dry to touch within 1-2 days.

WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT THIS OIL PAINT COMPARED TO TRADITIONAL OIL PAINTS?
These paints are comparable to traditional transparent or semi-transparent oil colors. The key to achieving a vibrant glow lies in their transparency, as it allows light to enter and exit the paint.

Unlike finely milled pigments, the rare earth pigments used in these paints have larger particle sizes. This is important for glow crystals to be at their brightest, as they require a larger size to achieve optimal performance in glow oil.

Some users may perceive a slightly gritty texture when the paint is applied thinly, but this is not noticeable when the paint is applied in thicker layers. The larger glow crystals in the paint contribute to a brighter illumination effect.
